I have small children and pets. Dogs have to be trained, otherwise they're a bother to everyone and kids don't always have the wherewithal to stick to agreed training measures. (I have a 9 year old who laughs when our Golden Retriever jumps up and bites her bum, she thinks it's funny... I don't!) But cats are furry, independent, they scratch or run under the bed when annoyed, and if you get one with a decent temperament they're fairly tolerant. They don't need a lot of care. Feed them and give them a bed to sleep on and they're fine. Cats. I have small children and pets.

I have been referring to my kittens as my teenage HOOLIGANS because that is what they are! At least they have stopped playing ping-pong at 3am nowadays and sleep most of the time, just like teenagers do. I can’t believe your title!
